Who we are

LeWinter Advisory LLC is an independent technology and cybersecurity advisory practice based in Nipomo, California. The practice is operated by Mike LeWinter.

What this site collects

This site is informational. It does not require accounts, does not sell products, and does not run third-party advertising.

The site collects only what is necessary to operate and to respond to inquiries:

• Contact submissions. If you email me directly, I retain that email so I can respond and, if we engage, to maintain a record of the engagement.
• Standard server logs. The hosting provider records standard request metadata, including IP address, user agent, and timestamp, for security and reliability purposes.
• No behavioral tracking. No marketing cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics that identify you personally.

How we use information

Information you share by email or during an engagement is used to scope and deliver the engagement, to respond to your questions, and to maintain required business records.

I do not sell personal information. I do not share it with third parties except as required to deliver the engagement, to comply with a legal obligation, or with your explicit permission.

Client engagement confidentiality

Client work is confidential by default. Case studies published on this site are anonymized unless the client has given written approval to be named. Findings, evidence, and deliverables produced during an engagement are treated as the client's confidential information and are not shared outside the engagement without written authorization.

Your rights

If you are a resident of California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable privacy law, you have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information I hold about you. To exercise those rights, email the address below. I will respond within the time frame required by applicable law.

Retention

Engagement records are retained for the period required by applicable professional, tax, and legal obligations, then destroyed.
